Kakadu Plum and Mango Infused Ginger Tea


With mango season in full swing, what better way to make use of the fruit than by infusing it in tea! This tea pairs this seasonal favourite with the fiery flavour of ginger and the slight citrus hit of Kakadu Plum. Ginger tea is ideal for promoting improved digestion and gut health, making it a great option to wake up with in the morning, or to enjoy after a meal. The addition of kakadu plum means the tea is packed with vitamin C and antioxidants.

2 heaped tablespoons Honest to Goodness loose leaf Ginger Tea
500 mL boiling water
5-6 pieces fresh mango, peeled
8-10 drops The Australian Superfood Co Kakadu Plum Extract or 2 tsp The Australian Superfood Co Kakadu Plum Powder
Fresh ginger if desired


Add the loose leaf tea to a tea strainer, placing in your favourite tea pot. Pour boiling water into the tea pot and add mango pieces and fresh ginger if you prefer. Add in Kakadu Plum Extract and leave to steep for 10-15 minutes. Enjoy hot or set aside to cool and serve over ice for a healthy summer beverage option!
