No Nut Choc-Berry Brownie Bites with Strawberry Gum

These No Nut Choc-Berry Brownie Bites with our native Strawberry Gum Extract are an ideal treat for any school lunchbox. They’re nut and refined sugar free, rich and chocolately and utterly delicious. We highly recommend doubling the recipe, because once the kids taste them, they’ll be gone before you know it.

Time: 15 minutes

Makes: approx. 12 balls

100 grams rolled oats

4 tbsp raw cacao powder

100 grams medjool dates, pitted

4 tbsp coconut oil, melted

1 tsp  Strawberry Gum Extract

1 tsp vanilla extract or paste

1 tbsp water pinch sea salt

  1. In a food processor or high-powered blender, blitz oats and cocoa powder to form a smooth flour like consistency.
  2. Add dates and remaining ingredients and blend until the mixture is well combined and starts to ball together.
  3. Add an extra tablespoon of water if needed, to help the mixture ball together.
  4. Roll mixture into tablespoon size balls. Wet hands if necessary to stop mixture stick- ing to them when rolling. Repeat until you have approximately 12 balls.

Store in an air-tight container in the refrigerator for up to 10 days, or freeze for up to 1 month and pop straight into the kids lunchbox. They’ll be defrosted in time for morning tea.
