Basil And Lemon Myrtle Pesto
Spice up your next homemade basil pesto with our native herb powder Lemon Myrtle for a citrusy twist. This herb is bursting with antioxidants and calcium and contains the highest concentration of plant citral in the world. A delicious flavour enhancer that your guests will love!
Serves : 1 Jar

⅓ cup raw pine nuts, almonds, walnuts, pecans or pepitas
2 cups packed fresh basil leaves (about 3 ounces or 2 large bunches)
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 cloves garlic, roughly chopped
½ teaspoon fine sea salt
½ cup extra-virgin olive oil
1 teaspoon Lemon Myrtle
Place all ingredients into a food processor and blend on high speed until you reach your desired consistency.
Serve with chopped vegetables or crackers.
Store leftover pesto in the fridge for up to one week.
