Kakadu Plum Turmeric Latte

Time to fight off and avoid catching the winter flu with this golden recipe! All hail Kakadu Plum as it’s got your back all year round! This native ingredient boasts the highest levels of Vitamin C compared to any other fruit in the world and is an antioxidant powerhouse! Just remember that a little goes a long way.

  1. Place all the ingredients, except for the Kakadu Plum powder, into a saucepan. Bring to the boil and simmer on low heat for approx. 20-30 minutes. The liquid should reduce to approx. 2 cups.
  2. When the heat has been reduced, turn off and allow to cool
  3. Pour the milk through a fine sieve and into two serving cups.
  4. Make sure the drink temp is below 60 degrees Celsius to ensure the Vitamin C from the Kakadu Plum is not destroyed. Once it’s below 60, add in the Kakadu Plum powder, stir through and enjoy!
