Davidson Plum Sauce

Davidson Plum provides a tart taste and is high in Vitamin E and Zinc, two nutrients required for youthful looking skin! Add it to sauces by balancing out with something sweet and you have yourself the ultimate addition to any meal.

  1. Add Davidson Plum Powder to the water in a saucepan. Add sugar, cinnamon stick, wine and anise. Simmer for an hour on low heat.
  2. Pour through a sieve and then return liquid to saucepan and reduce by half until thick.
  3. Add salt and butter to taste.
  4. Serve in a jar to accompany roasted turkey, chicken or other meat.
